alert for drivers in virginia. major changes will take effect at one of the busiest sberks in ties -- sberks in -- intersections in tysons corner. natasha barrett is waiting to update us. >> there are a lot of changes going on here. i drive through this area a lot. i went to the redskins game, and i saw the big sign, and i thought, what's going on here? we're talking about the area near international drive in tysons corner. this area has been under construction for so long, we have all been dealing with it. here's another change. it basically affects the ramp off camebridge road. route 123, going in the direction of reston and wolf trap, that's shut down. the new exit is off 123 to the frontage road. this is because of the ongoing issues of building the metro out here in the depul dulles area. get this -- it started friday night. you will notice the change come -- this morning coming in and out of the area. the change goes all the way through the end of this year. live from tysons corner, natasha barrett, abc news. >>> it is easier to get to interstate 95 in northern virginia. the

-- drivers in virginia. get ready for changes in tyson's corner. more with these changes and how it will affect you, nash nash. -- natasha barrett. >> good morning, lisa. i have to admit, i didn't know about the changes near the mall. there was a big orange sign that surprised me. it was good it was late and no one was behind me because i had to figure out my way around to get home. so this morning will be interesting for a lot of you driving in the tyson's corner area in virginia. what is affected is the ramp in the direction going to reston and wolf trap. anyone who knows tyson's corner or lives or works in the area knows about the traffic here and it is a mess. that is due to the metro project going on in this area. here are the changes happening now. it is the ramp from 123 to westbound route 7 in the tyson's corner area. there is a new exit out here from route 123 to the frontage road all for the ongoing construction for this major dulles metrorail project. it is going from this fri friday night -- it is going from this friday night until the end of the year. live from tyso

, virginia over a traffic speed bump led to murder. the body of steven cay was found at his home on field master drive on sunday night. police arrested and charged his neighbor, 44-year-old david patton with murder. they say he stormed in to carr's home and tied up him and his girlfriend before shooting carr. they say he may have been mad at the addition of a street bump. residents were shocked. >> i can't get over the fact it is senseless. >> it is senseless. ridiculous and so sad. >> reporter: in june, dave patton was arrested for assaulting steven carr outside of his home. his court date for that charge was set for thursday. he is now charged with second- degree murder and is in fairfax jail without bond. >>> police in florida are trying to solve the murder of a businessman from alexandria, virginia. sam dell broco was the founder of pci communication. he traveled several times a month to a home in pomp know beach where deputies found miss body inside of the home which is in a gated community. police have not said how he was killed ever an armored car guard is expected to recover after

in northern virginia where a few vehies got stuck in high water. our team coverage of this wet day continues now with news 4's tracee wilkins in annandale, virginia. >> reporter: here in northern virginia, a big mess with plenty of roads closed throughout the area. here on this road, another example of why you should not try your hand at high water. it was a wet, long, miserable morning commute that started for a lot of drivers on the inner loop of the beltway, after a tractor trailer jackknifed at the 270 split. fuel poured from the truck causing major backups throughout the morning commute. anwhile, in annandale on woodburn road, a v-dot worker says a husband and wife drove through the roadblock and tried to g through this standing water but didn't make it. they both had to be rescued. the water stood about two feet on thear side and a foot and a half on the side the driver tried to go through. >> i work right on woodburn road. i haven't been down there, but i'm wondering what it's like. >> reporter: v-dot crews surveyed flood-prone areas for the possibility of road closures, water ran thr
